How Many Daily Fantasy Sports Sites Are There for UK Players?

How many daily fantasy sports sites are there available for UK players? Quite a few, as it turns out!

Due to the growing popularity of DFS in the UK, it’s easy to play along with your favourite sports to win cash.

However, some sites – even the big names – are only available to North American players. This depends on where the operator is licensed. Plus, some UK operating sites don’t offer the daily format, preferring traditional season-long fantasy games.

We’ve compiled a list of daily fantasy sports sites with UK offerings, so you don’t have to search far to get playing. These are all sites where you can play to win cash.

UK Daily Fantasy Sports Sites

DraftKings

DraftKings is one of the biggest daily fantasy sites around. They offer daily fantasy football, basketball, baseball, golf, American football, Mixed Martial Arts and more.

A great variety of cash games and tournaments, as well as huge cash prizes, makes DraftKings a solid choice. They opened their UK site in January 2016, to the excitement of the growing UK daily fantasy scene.

Check out our DraftKings review for more information on why this site should be on your list. Plus we’ve written a guide on How To Make The Most of DraftKings Bonuses.

Fanaments

Fanaments is a big deal in European DFS right now. Kick-started in August 2015, they forked out over €500,000 in less than 1 year. They launched a UK site in January 2016.

Given their European market, of course Fanaments offer daily fantasy football. But you can also play basketball, golf and MMA.

They have two main game formats: Fantasy and Pick’em. In Fantasy games you focus on building a team of individual players. In Pick’em, you play based on forthcoming match results.

With great guaranteed prize pools available in their daily fantasy tournaments, Fanaments is definitely one to consider for your DFS home.

FanDuel

When someone thinks of daily fantasy sports, in all likelihood they will then think FanDuel. This operator is a huge player in the U.S., alongside DraftKings, and now has a UK football game for British fans.

Despite residing in Scotland, FanDuel only released their UK football site in August 2016. But what a launch! With a fresh new look, and a deposit bonus for up to £400, this site looks to become a serious challenger in UK daily fantasy sports.

They have teamed up with renowned sports data provider Opta Sports to get you the most accurate results at match time. Simply pick a team of 11 players for that day, enter contests, and watch the points rack up.

FanFeud

Like daily fantasy football and don’t want to pick your players based on a fantasy budget? Look no further than FanFeud.

The FanFeud format is notably different to other DFS sites. This is great for those wanting to weigh up their options or try out something new.

Contestants enter weekly contests and select players from two teams competing against one another that day. The contestant who racks up the most points wins the entire pot, making for exciting playing!

Our FanFeud review can tell you more about this unique and excitingly competitive site.

FantasyBet

FantasyBet boasts over £5000 to win every week to eager fantasy football managers. You can go for single, daily, weekly or full season contests, for free or for real money.

One thing that makes FantasyBet unique is the site’s Player List options. As well as the standard player list, you can choose ‘Shared List’, ‘Lucky List’ and ‘Random List’ options. Each list then selects 60 players, using an algorithm to ensure you get a mixture of star players and value picks.

For an extra thrill, manage against the clock in Flash Mode. In these games, contestants have just 3 minutes to roster a fantasy team and attempt to beat their opponents.

FanTeam

The main offering on FanTeam is daily fantasy football, but you can also play in contests for hockey or poker.

You can enter tournaments or head-to-heads, in daily, weekly and season-long formats. In weekly formats, you can choose to play 11-a-side, 6-a-side or 5-a-side in various player formations. You can enter public contests or create your own. Also, enter the freeroll tournaments to play for money without the entry fee.

An exciting aspect to rostering a football team on FanTeam is the ‘Captain’ and ‘Vice Captain’ features. The player you select as Captain gets double points – and in their absence, the Vice Captain does!

FanTeam also have a great Live Results information page, with updated infographics on all the latest results.

Mondogoal

Mondogoal logoMondogoal is the place to be for daily fantasy football. This site boasts 18 different leagues, including the English Premier League, Football League Championship, the League Cup, and the Euros.

Also on offer are more international choices, such as Brasileirão, the Chinese Super League, Spain’s Ligue BBVA, and U.S. Major League Soccer.

Since its creation in 2014, Mondogoal has handed out over £1 million to daily fantasy contestants. Individual players have come away with thousands of pounds from strategically rostered daily fantasy teams.

Check out our Mondogoal review for a more in-depth look at this daily fantasy football phenomenon.

PlayON

PlayON

PlayON offers daily fantasy football, golf and cricket – yes, cricket! It sends our British hearts aflutter.

This DFS site offers daily or weekly options, with head-to-heads, cash games and tournaments galore. You can edit teams and players right up until the fixture starts, plus you can easily save teams before entering them.

PlayON is clearly surging ahead when it comes to daily fantasy golf. The site landed an exclusive deal with the European Tour for 2016. Furthermore, they’re sponsored by the Irish Open. That’s some serious golf kudos.

Premier Punt

Premier Punt currently offers contests for the English Premier League, Champions League, and English Championship. You can choose to bet on weekly, daily or even single games. Play against other contestants to try and win their cash – or enter free games for real cash prizes!

As Premier Punt put it themselves:

Now the question is less ‘How many daily fantasy sports sites are there?’ and more ‘Which ones should I try?!’

Which type of daily fantasy site will suit you depends on what you’re looking for.

  • Football crazy? Try out Mondogoal, FanFeud, FantasyBet or Premier Punt.
  • PlayON is also ideal for cricket and golf, and sites like Fanaments and DraftKings are great for offering a range of sports.
  • FanTeam and FantasyBet may be better if you want seasonal as well as daily options.

Sites also vary in the types of contests they offer, as well as playing and payout rules. It’s best, therefore, to scope out a few different sites before deciding which one – or ones! – you want to use.

This list may grow longer in the future, because of the promising rise of DFS in the UK. It’s fantastic seeing how many daily fantasy sports sites are there for UK players. As a result, we hope to see the UK DFS scene continue to grow.
