The only Premier League action this week is at Stamford Bridge, where a less-than-convincing Chelsea take on West Brom. Antonio Conte’s side are still reeling from the terrible performance that saw them lose 4-1 to Watford last week. The only goal for the Blues came from the man our money’s on tonight: Eden Hazard.
Even while rumours circulate of his possible move to Real Madrid, we think Hazard could pull it out of the bag against the team struggling to vacate the bottom of the table. It’s looking like he’ll have some help up front, too—with Olivier Giroud likely to make his first start for Chelsea.
While it may seem like we’re placing a bit of a safe bet here, the way Chelsea have been playing in 2018, no one can be sure! Plus, we’d like to make the most of the Belgian player while he’s still gracing us with his presence in the Premier League. He’s going to be a firm fixture of our DFS line-ups for the rest of the football season (if he sticks around). We’d also recommend eyeing him up for your World Cup plans, too. Make sure to check our handy guides when deciding on your teams!
It’s a bit of a do or die situation for Chelsea. They need this win to crack the top 4 and faith in their manager seems to be at an all time low. Conte has to prove that the Blues aren’t on a downward spiral in 2018. All things considered, this is a game Conte’s side should (and perhaps must) win.

With the rest of the week’s football dominated by the return of the Champions League (woop!) and the FA Cup this weekend, this game is definitely worth a watch. It’s not out of the question that West Brom could pull off a win against one of the big teams tonight—they shocked Liverpool at the end of January with a 3-2 win in the FA Cup. Chelsea are unlikely to go down without a fight, though, and the last time the two teams met in this competition the Blues thrashed Pardew’s side 4-0.
They meet under interesting circumstances tonight—hopefully guaranteeing we get an entertaining game. Both teams desperately need a win after a run of poor performances. Expect players to bring their all, because the fans will be demanding it!
