Who doesn’t like a bit of adrenaline inducing online fun? With Daily Fantasy you get just that, and more. You can play for free or for whatever budget you have your heart set on.
Are you a footy fanatic or are you after some MMA mania? The games really are that diverse – so you can pick the one that most tickles your fancy…
Arguably the most popular sport, worldwide and online, is Football. As such, there are plenty of sites for you to choose from. Our favourite for the UK is Mondogoal – DFS football is the only sport they offer but they do it very, very well. If you’re looking for a fantasy offering from a household name, then why not check out Sky Sports’ fantasy site?
You can build a team of the best players around the world and there’s a 100% money back guarantee so you don’t have to worry about being scammed or anything dodgy like that.
If you want to learn the basics of DFS football, check out our handy article, posted right here – it’s full of useful tips and strategies to get you on your way.
Spend most of yours days shootin’ some b-ball outside of the school, Fresh Prince style?
Already a fast paced and exciting game, fantasy basketball won’t disappoint. With PlayON (our fav DFS basketball site) you build a team of 7 players, with a max budget of $100 million.
Our overall top basketball sites for the UK are:
1. PlayON – we mentioned it above; we really do like it.
2. Fanaments – a spanking new site that just got licenced in the UK.
3. FanDuel – the site that is officially linked by the NBA!
New to basketball? Don’t worry – you don’t need to be an expert to play; check out our quick guide that covers the basics.
Ballers, batsmen and fielders all welcome! Let’s not forget the fans in the audience too. In fact, you don’t have to know heaps about cricket to play. (Although it helps, if you want to win!).
Because we’re so nice, we also wrote an exclusive article on where and how to play DFS Cricket.
Daily Fantasy MMA has finally arrived – and it’s the newly UK licenced site, Fanaments, that has brought it to us.
You score points through a number of different ways, including ‘significant strikes,’ which is defined as “any strike at a distance or a power strike in the clinch and on the ground.”
There’s chance to scoring big with bonuses, like a first round win, where you get 100 extra points!
Unfortunately, there aren’t very many sites that offer daily fantasy rugby here in the UK. ESPN does, but it’s limited to season long fantasy games only. It is very popular in the US, however, – where they call it ‘football’ *eyeroll*.
You can play on Fanduel and DraftKings – the biggest sites for DFS, probably in the world, but the currency is in dollars.
We’re on the lookout for new UK Rugby sites as DFS grows, so watch this space.
If your forte is a spot of golf, you can put your expertise to the test with some fantasy golfing.
Similar to DFS Rugby, there’s not really a one stop UK site for golf. However, you can play on DraftKings.
As always, there’s a set budget that you can use to pick your team. DraftKings allows you a max of 50,000 dollars and a team roster is made up of 6 golfers.
Fancy yourself as the next virtual Tiger Woods? Go on, then – have a play!
Hope that helped
That’s the main types of Daily Fantasy Sports you can get stuck into, done and dusted.
Remember, you don’t have to be a professional or the next Wayne Rooney to have a go. Choose one that you think you might enjoy, or, even better – play them all!
You never know, you might end up on the leaderboards. (If you do – remember to quote us as your guide!)
